Tour Description

Join us for a truly magical encounter with Mauritius’ most beloved marine residents — the bottlenose dolphins of the west coast. Set out early aboard a fast, comfortable speedboat for an experience that combines adventure, beauty, and serenity in one unforgettable day.

Your journey begins at La Preneuse (Black River), known for their calm morning seas and high likelihood of dolphin sightings. As you skim over the clear turquoise waters, your skipper will guide you to the dolphins’ natural feeding grounds. Watch them play and leap gracefully beside the boat, or slip into the water for a respectful, close-up encounter.

After the dolphin experience, continue your cruise toward one of Mauritius’ best snorkeling sites, often called The Aquarium — a coral-rich lagoon teeming with tropical fish. Snorkeling equipment and life jackets are provided for your safety and comfort.

The full-day excursion also includes a leisurely stop at the beautiful Île aux Bénitiers, where a delicious barbecue lunch awaits. Enjoy grilled fish, chicken, and sausages, with fresh salads and vegetarian options, paired with unlimited beverages — both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Spend some time exploring the island or simply relax on its palm-fringed beach.

Before heading back, the boat will make one final stop at the famous Crystal Rock, a striking coral formation rising from the sea — the perfect spot for a swim and a photo.

Choose between a half-day (07:30–10:30) or full-day (07:30–14:00) tour.

The half-day option focuses on the dolphin encounter and snorkeling.

The full-day option adds the BBQ lunch and island relaxation at Île aux Bénitiers.

Private transfers can be arranged from any accommodation across Mauritius, or you may choose to meet directly at the departure point. Private tours are also available upon request.
